Street Sprints – Saturday May 20th

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY. The Street Sprints are a round-robin double elimination event. The times posted are for the first races within a particular category, after that, the times will be posted and the racers called to the line at the discretion of the referees. The Races will start on Old Route 66 with two lanes of the highway as your course. The racers will race on a 350 meter course with the winner advancing to the next round and the defeated racers moving to a repechage bracket. Each racer is guaranteed two sprints. Each sprint will have two, three or four racers depending on the size of the field. You are encouraged to bring a set of rollers or wind trainer in order to be ready when your name is called.

Gallup Omnium-Prize List $900

Overall points are based on the points won in the criterium and the street sprints. Cash and NMRS points will be based on the total of the three events. In each race, points are awarded to 1st thru 14th place as follows: 25, 22, 19, 16, 14, 12, 10, 8, 7. 6. 5,4, 3, 2; all remaining riders receive one point. The Prize list for the Gallup Omnium: Race M $100/4, Race W $100/4, Race C $100/4, Race B $100/4 and Race A $500/10.
